Dr. Hart is a long time resident of Morganton who values the sense of community that exists throughout Burke County. He has been serving the residents of this area since 1974 with his personable philosophy of health care.
Dr. Hart earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from UNC Chapel Hill and completed his internship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
He then returned to UNC Chapel Hill to complete his General Residency and Graduate Residency in Otolaryngology.
Dr. Hart served in our Armed Forces as a Battalion Surgeon and General Surgeon Officer in Viet Nam.

Currently, Dr. Hart serves on the surgical staff of Grace Hospital (Blue Ridge Health Care) and Caldwell Hospital. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Surgery at UNC School of Medicine at Chapel Hill, and serves as a consultant for Broughton Hospital, Western Carolina Center and NC School for the Deaf.
